Summer is here, and unfortunately, this doesn’t always mean a vacation. For many busy women, summer is no signifier of relaxation—there is still work to think about, and the kids are out for the school year. When a rare break does present itself, it may be difficult to imagine yourself running to the gym. Nevertheless, despite your busy schedule, taking the time to take care of yourself is just as important as all of the other things on your to-do list. Fortunately, there are a number of things you can do to make sticking to a fitness routine a bit more bearable. One easy activity to incorporate into your day and fitness routine is to ditch the elevator—take the stairs! Another great idea is to go to the beach—it’s fun, it’s sunny, and most importantly, there are plenty of physical activities to engage in!
